Wald-Liebe / Forest-Love

*****

As a huge fan of forests and meadows I just had to do a 3-piece-set of forest-tags. (One of my first projects, to test the new XL-tag-punch, the new stamps from the "Pictorial Webster's Stamp Set" and embossing on small objects for embellishments).

First difficulty: as these stamps are mounted on extremely soft foam, it very easily happens, that you stamp the edges of the stamp too. I solved this problem by positioning the inked stamps carefully and without any pressure on the paper and then giving pressure with an acrylic bloc, trying to keep it strictly parallel to the surface. Also the removing of the stamp requires some attention to avoid printing the edges by tipping it. But with some care and practice it works quite well and the wonderful motives are worth the cost.

To get the tiny, red embossed "forest-love-hearts", I stamped with gold first and then dipped them right into the embossing-powder-pot using tweezers. For the smaller forest-treasures and -inhabitants I punched three small circles, inked the edges with the foam-applicator-tool and stamped on them. To get the layered look, I suggest to use small foam-sticky-pads.
